Farmstay Activities
Community Events
Discover what truly sets us apart: our role in the heart of the local organic farming Community Events. Suan Na Ta Bua is proud to host activities for universities, organic farming groups, and has been officially chosen by the Ministry of Agriculture as the pilot project in Ubon Ratchathani for increasing agritourism across Isaan. This unique position provides our guests with unparalleled access and insight into the region’s growing organic tourism movement.
This means you’ll have the special opportunity to participate in events organized right here on the farm, often where many other local organic farmers gather to display and offer tastings of their products. You can also join P’Rung and P’Kek as they venture out to local fairs and markets to sell the delicious organic produce grown directly here on site. It’s a chance to connect directly with the community, learn from passionate farmers, and experience the real, vibrant network behind Isaan’s organic revolution.

It’s a direct, hands-on connection to the farm’s natural rhythm and the bounty of the land.
Fishing is a fun and rewarding experience. Be ready to get wet and muddy as you engage with the environment. The best part? Composting
Dive into the key behind true organic farming: Composting! Discover the essential practice that nourishes our soil naturally. We explore various methods, from Thai universities to the cutting-edge Soil Food Web approach by Dr. Elaine Ingham. Collect diverse materials from the farm – green plant matter, shredded leaves, wood, and nitrogen-rich chicken manure. Weigh them precisely to create the perfect recipe for a thriving compost pile, bursting with beneficial microorganisms.
Participating in composting can be hot, hard work, but there’s a deep sense of achievement in transforming waste into valuable soil amendment. This activity offers an insight into where organic food originates. The composting methods you learn have universal principles, offering tips you can apply to your own gardening practices back home. Join us and connect with the fundamental cycle of life on the farm!
